Previously deemed a "Fashion Week Frenzy" - Oxford shoes ARE the next 'it' item for Spring. Not the high-heeled versions that kept us all tetter-tottering in 2007. Nope...these are COMFY! Two stylish ladies recently were spotted wearing these killer kicks with a bit of a metallic feel. Both looks exude a bit of punk-rock chic but each lady-love accessorized to correctly compliment this new/trendy shoe-fetish alternative!
Agyness paired her Oxford's with some printed, sheer knee-high SOCKS and kept the rest of her dark ensemble rather simple. In my eyes, there is little this model-maven can do wrong! Then there is the ever-adorable Heidi Klum whose out-stretched hand is holding her "mini-me" daughter, Leni (sorry, she didn't make the cut this time). I'm making all efforts to ignore Heidi's fedora (blah) but her gray/black shades also tune her look down to a more simplistic feel and then, POW, the killer kicks!
Ahhhh...I've had my eyes on these for a while, just missed a good deal on a pair of gold oxfords at Urban Outfitters. One of those few moments of shopping-sanity where you 'think' and then go back LATER to 'buy' and they are GONE! Why, oh why, do I ever convince myself this theory EVER works? Grrrr...not meant to be, I guess! That's fine...I think I'm leaning more towards SILVER now, anyways! I feel an oxford trend...has arrived, my loves!
