I've recently received many-an-email about my former coverage regarding my cousin, Ashlee Register, and her appearance on the newest hit gameshow DUEL. Well, I have amazing and wonderful news for everyone....drumroll please...SHE WON! That's right folks! She...won...it...ALL! The whole she-bang, the entire show...she WON!!!
Her grand WINNING total was $1,795,000...making her the highest-paid, female, game-show money winner, to-date...and fifth, overall, in winning history! That's right...she's in the RECORD BOOKS! Obviously the family was BEYOND excited! Being around everyone this Christmas was absolutely wonderful and to share in her JOY was exhilirating!
Her plans? Ashlee said, "Well...NO debt at all! How nice will it be to have no student loans to pay, a mortgage that is paid off and a comfortable chunk for our retirement? I really feel blessed!"
Ashlee recently got married in October to Jeff Register. And can I just take a moment to point out that HE is also the lucky one (for many more reasons than this) but most obviously in the fact that he WON the Newlywed-Lottery, in my book! The hubby of a millionaire = not a shabby life...if I do say so myself!

PS - This DOES, indeed, have a bit to do with FASHION because Ashlee also informed me of her cram-shopping-session before taping. Yowzers, did she ever glow and SHINE on television. Her classic ensembles and perfect skin were truly radiant...makin' me proud! I'm lovin' the "Sangria-Red" manicure too, Chick!
