So I'm BEYOND pumped to see this look, bright/bold tights, garnering some serious wear on the Fall 2008 Runways. We're only into the first few days of New York Fashion Shows, and already, three key designers (a few others as well, but these were the brightest) showed entire Fall Collections with over half the ensembles coming alive with BRIGHT tights. They are fun, feminine and bring so much 'life' to darker fall colored looks! Plus, they fulfill your checklist for Spring's Top Ten Must-Have Item #6 - Neon/Bright Pops of Color!
Are they too much for you to handle? Well have faith, as I thought so too...at first! Just last night, I paired my blue tights (similar shade as seen at Erin Fetherston and Vera Wang, above) with brown slouchy FLAT boots, a cute brown dress, a white cardigan and green belt! The ensemble was a "statement-maker!" I got numerous compliments just walking to dinner and RunwayDaily Hubby approved! And we all know, he's not afraid to give his OPINION, when it comes to fashion! Bright tights are everywhere in stores, so no speedy-savvy-stylin' needed! Though many a reader may be reluctant to sport...take a fashion RISK and pair them with a black, grey or brown look...let those GAMS shine bright this Spring and then, into Fall!
