Do you have a long neck? Do you want a long neck? Well, problem solved and it's oh so fashionable, too! Turtlenecks elongate ANY neck and are one of the most classic, lady-like and well...a fresh new feature on nearly ALL the Fall Runways. Turtlenecks were ruling supreme on these catwalks for Fall/Winter 2008; Gucci, Fendi, Topshop, D&G and Michael Kors. The looks, never stagnant, just kept coming out with numerous layered ensembles with the bottom being...you guessed it, yours truly!
The turtleneck, just like the GREY BAG deserves its own post because there were just too many Runway shots to choose from! I'm loving the baby-blue monochromatic look at Topshop (above, upper left) that also elongates your entire figure (when you don similar colors). How about the easy to emulate look at
Dsquared² (upper right)? Are you just imagining how you can pair Spring's FULL SKIRT, SKINNY BELT and now a Fall turtleneck? I'm already putting ensembles together in my mind. This is an easy-breezy addition, because in all likelihood...you already own a T-neck, or two! Enjoy!
