Ay yay yay...this isn't good! We love to give fashion props/GOLD STARS to numerous celebs that have style and grace and need to be rewarded for their great ensemble choices. Today we're featuring three ladies whose personal style choices just didn't meet our marks. Explanation below:
Solange Knowles - We love her metallic blouse, HIGH-WAISTED skirt, big BLACK BAG and killer booties. As for her tights, they just have to g-o! They'd possibly rock out with another, more casual ensemble. Maybe Solange should have traded in those crazy bright pink ones for some more modern opaque or a dark grey plaid version. Ugly is the word comes to mind when glancing at these leaf/rooster (?) printed crazies. Solange - trash 'em today, lady!
Jessica Simpson - Perfectly flowing blonde hair: check! Big white smile: check! Cute PLAID shirt: check! Three pieces of turquoise accessories: BLECH! Lingerie corset worn with jeans: BLECH! Though we love our TURQUOISE accessories, keep the look minimal. Don only ONE, with the exception to this rule being if you sport earrings and a cocktail ring. There so far apart on your body, it's not color overload. But honestly, wear only a solo piece of turquoise if you're even double guessing your look at all. As for the corset...Jess should have left this one for a late night with Tony and not worn it on stage. It's so sassy trashy!
Rihanna - Love the shirt, love the GLADIATORS...dont' love them together. If you sport loud and attention getting prints, make sure your shoes are toned down and don't compete. If you love to wear wow shoes, then make sure your ensemble is less noticeable and allows your shoes to do the talkin! Rihanna loves some WOW accessories (check out her hoops) but this outfit is a dud in my book. Imagine the look with all black gladiators, so sleek and allowing the printed top to glow. Or, how about a black tank with white vest...her Balenciaga sandals would then take the front seat! Enjoy and please don't make these same mistakes, my fashionable readers!
