Shoot, if CasaCullen can have their own recipe of the week...I figured why can't we! Yep, today I'm incorporating some recipe fun over here on RWD too! Today's recipe is sure to entice. I'm a big, big bath fan...they are just fabulous for so many different reasons. I don't take them as much as I'd like, so as the temps are staying pretty low here in Austin and the rest of the country, it seems to be prime bath-taking weather.
Over the holidays I purchased/received two new lovely scented bubble baths from Bath & Body Works. One was sweetly given to me as a surprise from my Mom for hosting Thanksgiving at our house, so thoughtful. Both mixtures smell like heaven but I have something to share. They seem to be rather drying for me and I end up itching all night while trying to sleep. My skin just isn't too happy with the outcome, even though my soul is renewed.
So, the other night I tried just adding essential oils instead and BAM...the perfect bath for my skin. I subscribe to Real Simple's newsletter and received the above recipe duo in one of their recent ones. I smiled from ear to ear and just had to share with you, dear readers. I haven't given either recipe a go, just yet.
But I'm off to the grocery store to get the items to make CasaCullen's Homemade Tomato Soup tonight and you know I'll be picking up some sunflower oil and honey to try the bottom recipe. Let me know if you give either recipe a try and what you think.
Also, maybe your a bath bubble genius and have your own recipes. If so, share the wealth please. HERE's a link to the original post from Real Simple and I've added some yummy other bath fun below, for your shopping/viewing pleasure. How chic is that Black Maria soap? My gosh, gorgeous! Enjoy and get to soaking those gorgeous gams already!
