Today is EARTH DAY and we're happy to feature a designer who takes eco as seriously as she does her fashion...THE Stella McCartney. Her spring 2011 collection was statement making, pairing together denims, creams, blues, whites and fruit prints (obviously making this native Floridian smile) into a mish-mash collection of wearable pieces. Look closely, I'm sure there's a few pieces you'd totally drool over...and we tip our fashion loving hats to all eco-conscious designers out there. Have a wonderful Earth Day!
Psst - check out the entire collection HERE.

Hannah MacGibbon's for Chloé Fall 2011 was spot on and on trend. Snakeskin, bright hues, intricate details and timely silhouettes breezed down the stark white runway. It is, hands down, one of my favorite fall collections thus far. Wearable, pairable, covetable...MacGibbon's use of beautiful and bold color and day wear shapes garner her collections as a 2011 jetset must. Check out my hand picked favorite looks from the 32 piece collection. You can see all the fashion magic, in its entirety, right HERE.

Eye candy alert! Literally, Jonathan Saunders Spring 2011 collection stopped me dead in my runway loving tracks. Ohh...mmm...gee, love this entire collection. You can see more HERE as I've only shared my personal favorites. His inspiration wasn't the 70's (like numerous other designers) but instead the wonderful femininity found in the 40's and 50's. Notice the beauty trends too...perfect ponytails with a front twist and bright red lipstick. We find so many of his pieces wearable, flattering and feminine. Yep, hands down, one of our favorite collections in a long time. Enjoy the pics!

We love when we stumble on a great collection/new brand and are so eager to share it, we nearly can't wait. When we saw the outerwear pieces from Soiakyo.com, our jaw dropped and we're sure our heart skipped a few beats. Soïa & Kyo is a Canadian outerwear brand best known for its fabulous fit, intricate detailing and its uniquely urban & funky styling. The award winning website and online store features sophisticated and street-wise coats and jackets for the down to earth and environmentally friendly woman and perfect for that go-to outerwear piece.
Seriously, we are in complete adoration of the silhouettes, colors and great collars, above. I know it seems rather hasty to purchase a fall/winter coat, but it'll be here before we all know it and how nice to be one step ahead of the trends by sporting a new season-less jacket and not last year's worn out piece. This is an investment piece and something that will transition from year to year with ease. If you're on the search for a leather bomber, puffer jacket or great winter coat...we've totally struck gold for you. Enjoy!
PS - We know how much you love a good deal. We do too! So Soïa & Kyo is offering all RWD readers 5% off on any style from the Soïa & Kyo Fall/Winter 2010 collection by using promocode fall1005cj. Enjoy!

I know, I know...we're all basking in the summer sun and enjoying the holiday weekend so why in the world is RWD featuring cashmere? Well, here in the fashion world, the engines are crackin' and all geared up towards fall fashion trends. You know how much pride we take in keeping you ahead of the trends so today's post is time sensitive.
Having just featured Gucci's resort collection HERE, we know it's hard for you to imagine sweaters, pants and close-toed shoes. But heed our advice and jump on the purchasing bandwagon early. There are some great sales out there for classic fall/winter pieces! Scoop them up now and you'll be one step ahead of other shoppers, come fall.
We recently looked over Michael Kors Fall Collection and a) wanted every single piece b) knew we had to share it with you...lastly c) we can't wait to show you the pieces we've found that mimic this aesthetic for a fraction of the cost. The striking color palette from Kors' show was rich in camel, light blue, grey, dark brown and black...these are all colors you probably already don and have in your wardrobe.
Browsing below, adding a new chunky knit or a great pair of camel colored trousers will vamp up that perfect leather belt and long sleeved grey t-shirt that you already own. The extravagant leather and fur pieces can be had at a much lower price if you're willing to go faux, too! Kors' collection has received only the highest approval from the fashion gods so we've laid out some pieces to get your fall kick-off to a sweet Kors-like start. Enjoy!

So I've only hear minimal buzz about the Olsen twins new collection exclusively at JCPenney and now I'm wondering why. Olsenboye, a fabulous, funky and affordable juniors collection totally rocks. Two things I noticed immediately, the adorable carmel colored oxfords (number 1) that we just recently showed you how to wear HERE. The other item is the button back plaid shirt that is a style that the Olsen twins highlighted in their Elizabeth and James collection years ago. Now you and me can get an Elizabeth and James-esque piece for hundreds less. Bravo.
I also adore the Foldover XBody Tote (number 10) and will be sure to try on the Bow Skirt too (number 8). There are so many sassy and fun pieces in this collection. One piece that is sure to get you noticed and is always a classic (we literally mentioned it years ago HERE) is the Piped Boyfriend Blazer (number 7). This would look great paired with boyfriend jeans or even a sequin skirt.Make sure to mix and match these pieces to correctly compliment menswear pieces with an added femininity. I love this collection and will be finding my way into a JCPenney to check it out in person very, very soon. Until then, enjoy and drool and prices of the corresponding links below!
9. Plaid Button Back Shirt - $19.99
11. Venice - $40

So many of my dear readers already know that I love Lauren Conrad's style. On one hand, she's laid-back and casual, and on the other, supremely lady-like and dressy. Such a great combo and very similar to my own personal style choices.
I was on an intense all-day shopping outing with my Mom and sister when they were here during Thanksgiving and we all stumbled into a Kohl's (my first time in years) and much to my surprise...I fell head over heels for Conrad's collection. I did not support her own personal collection...both the price-points and styles were a little bit off. But this collection, in my opinion, hits the SPOT!
Numerous pieces from this collection were definitely on my Christmas list and RWD Hubby cleaned up. It's funny how what he chose I didn't even notice on the rack, but I absolutely adore each piece from him. Needless to say, I will be keeping an eye on the after Christmas sales to grab a few other pieces.
So dear readers, might you need something cute and festive for that New Years soiree? Definitely stop by Kohl's and make sure to check out Conrad's adorably cute cocktail dresses too. I love the floral asymmetrical dress for $41.99. What a steal! Check out some other great deals from the collection, below. Enjoy!

Well, don't fret any longer...and definitely no more giving up. I'm here to keep you covered and Topshop is here to keep us all quite fashionably affordable.

Well, for my avid New York City readers...I'm totally jealous you now have a Topshop in your 'hood. Do you think there's any hope for Austin? Oh boy...I sure hope so! Enjoy!

Ok, seriously...it isn't just EVERY DAY that a designer releases an ENTIRE collection that I'm absolutely drooling for. Today, my dears, is MY lucky day! Elie Tahari recently showed their 2009 Resort Collection and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Why? Oh lover, let me count the ways!
Floral, watercolor prints, killer mini's, bright colored jackets, white shorts, nude platform sandals and wide-leg jeans were all there! And that's just to name a few! As you can see from the collage, above, the collection is incredibly feminine, fun and oh so ideal for all you jet-setters out there! We can only dream to live a life of luxury and ease...but sporting an ensemble that's even CLOSE to one of these truly means you're already half way there!
I'm feeling a bit giving today so I've provided you with some fun speedy-savvy-stylin' below! I figured what BETTER way to show you how to emulate these 8 looks than lay the pieces out for you...all coming in at well under $150! So...if it's drab/dreary day OR you're just itching for a vaca, pronto...pick up some of these goodies below and I guarantee you'll be whisked away to an island...far, far away! Enjoy!
