I've added a new category in order to better integrate my readership and highlight what's going on via both our blogs! Here at RunwayDaily it's all about fashion & beauty and over at our sister site, CasaCullen, it's all about home design and cooking.
I've always been obsessed with fashion and have now also become much more interested in interior design and cooking after purchasing our first home in October of 2009 in Austin, TX. I think it is true that fashion dictates home design trends.
Take for example the fact that turquoise was all the rage in fashion and I featured it right HERE as early as spring of 2008. Now fast forward to this year and it's one of the strongest and trendiest furnishing hues, which I featured on CasaCullen HERE. I can go on and on with such things as plaid, deep purples and floral prints. They've all had their saunter on the runway and then onto home decor.
So, without further ado. I've taken an easy to emulate look from designer Dries Van Noten's Fall collection featured on the runway less than 48 hours ago (entire collection HERE). I've taken this fabulous designer's cue and created some one-stop shopping below to integrate the palette/prints into both your wardrobe and home accent pieces.
All prices are affordable and each look will not only get you noticed but will make a statement too. Hopefully this makes you step out of the box and try out a new color combo both in fashion and furnish. Enjoy!
