Inbox Thrills: Bold Prints Galore from 80's Purple

the online fashion boutique - 80s Purple

80s Purple Spring 2010 Lookbook

I've mentioned 80's Purple to you before HERE and I hope you've been scoping their goods out ever since. I woke up this morning with a sweet thrill in my inbox. It included a link to their new spring lookbook and I jumped at the chance to breese through it. Every single season 80's Purple pumps out lookbooks that are inspiring, intoxicating and refreshing. They style their pieces to utter perfection and I always adore the models they use/choose.

I've commented on a few of my fave images above and aptly added some style advice too. Mixing your prints, both bold and soft, is a great way to change it up this season. You really don't even need to purchase any new pieces but glance through your wardrobe and pair some new items together. Be daring, be fun and be creative. If you're just not ready to mix and match your prints, then invest in one of these bold pieces below to create some added wow factor for your ensemble. How about those $10 Sunglasses? Get free shipping with this code: eyesonus...you're welcome!Enjoy!

Inbox Thrills: Spring SALE at Shopbop & Video/Q&A with Rag & Bone

Related Posts with Thumbnails

Shopbop

(Click to Enlarge or CLICK HERE to view the Rag & Bone video from Shopbop)

I opened up my inbox this morning and much to my delight a great video from one of my fave one-stop online shops - Shopbop. If you aren't in the know about this websites offerings, then I suggest you click that little link and get informed. I'd literally change my entire wardrobe if someone said I could only don goods from their website. Literally, rid myself of everything to only wear Shopbop pieces. They have so many fabulous designers and their models always wear their clothing so well. They make every piece look chic, adorable and very wearable.

So back to the post at hand. Shopbop did a great video (link above) and Q&A HERE with Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright. I love peeking inside anyone's life in fashion...hence why I loved the movie September Issue (but not Anna's incessant wearing of the same necklace!) So do take a moment on this gorgeous Friday and get yourself re-inspired by this great mini-doc.

Also, I've rounded up my fave sale items at Shopbop below. Now is the time to grab up that sequin blazer or bomber jacket. Also, splurge on a good pair of jeans before spring is here. You'll thank yourself come fall. What else, a great spring hat is always a do to shade that winter skin from those impending rays. Regardless, browse through these options and get shopping as most ring in under $150. Want to sign up with Shopbop to get their amazing updates. I have a personal invitation for you, RIGHT HERE! Sign up and enjoy, sweet readers!

NY&Co Sale

NY&Co Sale -2 (Click to Enlarge)

You know I love a good sale and I'm also trying to share with you my Inbox Thrills. Today is a great combo of both. I was alerted by New York & Company about this here sale, starting today. I decided just to check it out and see what this company has up for grabs. I'm actually a closet fan of NY&Co. and can usually find a great statement-making piece from their collections. Man, I'm so glad I took the time out of my busy morning to do a bit of online browsing.

Check out the deals and steals that can be had above. Numerous pieces on clearance are ringing in at the mere price of $7.99. That's insanely low! I mean, honestly...a pair of boyfriend jeans for $7.99, a cross-body/fringe (combining two of my fave trends) bag for $14.47 and that adorable gray beaded tunic for $14.99 would be a very chic ensemble. I'm also eye-balling the brushstroke print tunic dress for $14.99. So many affordable and adorable pieces, sweet readers.

You better go get yourself to NY&Co. or get to shopping below. I've linked to many of my featured sale items and also added a few more that I adore. These are not going to last sweet readers so scoop them up pronto if you're as in love with them as I am. HERE'S a link to all the sale items. Enjoy!

Inbox Thrills: Groupon - Collective Buying Power

Groupon 3

I have something very special for my readers today. It's another stylish snazzy site but with a twist. It encompasses so much more than just fashion and beauty. It really is a new way to 'do life.' Readers, meet Groupon. Groupon...welcome to RWD! How did this come about?

So I was chatting this morning with two fabulous women, one of them who is very 'in the know' (she actually shot me my invite to Rent the Runway a few weeks back) and had no idea what Groupon was. I was shocked and realized that there are probably so many great little Inbox Thrills that I forget to share with you, my readers. Today, I've remembered, and even created a whole new category to alert me to share!

So what the heck is Groupon? Let me share what it's all about and why I think you should immediately get on board. If they feature your city, even better! If not, maybe jump on board in a city you enjoy visiting.

Here's a snippet from the Groupon site for a better understanding of how it all works: Groupon started in November 2008 as part of The Point, a platform for collective action. We started Groupon to make it easier for people to enjoy the great things in their community. We do it by offering daily deals at unbeatable prices through the power of group buying. We also use Groupon's consumer collective to lift each community we touch, by featuring local charities and organizing support for community causes. We treat our customers the way that we like to be treated, and do everything we can to offer a "too good to be true" experience from the moment you buy your Groupon to the day you use it.

Have we gotten on board with Groupon? You better believe it. We have a an upcoming Thai cooking class (which you know I'll be featuring on CasaCullen) that we secured at 50% off and we're also venturing to a B&B about 2 hours away in a few weekends and this deal was 70% less than the normal rate. Yes, Groupon rocks! Here in Austin I've noticed some amazing boutique purchasing deals, restaurants galore and awesome spa discounts.

Also, Groupon is running a contest you can enter where the winner, after living completely off of Groupons for a year will be awarded a hefty and hearty $100,000. More deets on that HERE...enjoy!

PS - Do you love this idea? Have another awesome Inbox Thrills to share with me and my RWD readers...email me the info at runwaydaily@runwaydaily.com!
