Sheesh, it's like beauty week around RunwayDaily this week! First we featured our newest top 5 finds HERE and today we just had to feature another fabulous line we're really starting to adore. Still in the testing phase with NUDE (we try before we buy, always), we already like the results we're seeing and are truly standing behind such a natural/green line too. Check out the video above to get a bit more background on the company and then check out these great product re-caps way below too.
Here's an awesome snippet about why (in addition to how miraculous their skincare collection really is) we love and adore this line:
NUDE founder and eco-entrepreneur Bryan Meehan made organic food sexy in the UK with his Fresh & Wild stores and was inspired to do the same for natural skincare. With Ali Hewson, wife of Bono on board, NUDE has become a celebrated British brand, synonymous with high performance skincare and sustainable, ethical values.
Bryan: 10 years ago I was working at Fresh & Wild and I noticed my customers would buy organic food and keep a healthy active lifestyle, but then they would head to Space NK to buy skincare made with chemicals. Knowing that 70% of what you put on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream, I asked them why, and the overwhelming response was that they felt natural skincare would not deliver results or tackle their anti-ageing concerns. I wanted to create a range of skincare where women wouldn't need to compromise on their natural values to achieve powerful results.
Ali: That's when Bryan came to me with the idea of setting up a natural skincare brand which would re-define the industry and work with the skin's natural biology... it sounded so fantastic I had to be involved.
NUDE is truly revolutionizing the way we look at skincare by finding the middle ground between natural and high performance. That staggering 70% statistic is something to make you think about when putting on your makeup, washing your face and slathering on your night cream...isn't it?
Here are the four essential ingredients NUDE founder believe create an effective anti-ageing routine; probiotics to repair cellular damage and correct ageing, bioactive peptides to firm and smooth the skin, hyaluronic acid to hydrate and smooth fine lines and antioxidants to protect the skin against ageing.
Per our usual, we'll keep you posted as we dive into greater depth in our NUDE skincare regimen...enjoy!

Having recently spied the gorgeous Eva Mendes in these picture perfect Brian Atwood, I got to thinking. These are the perfect fall shoe! They're unexpected (blush) and subtle (suede) and will go with pretty much everything (insert Exhibit A above). Yes, I'm in total agreement that Mendes' gorgeous dark hued skin totally makes any shoe look extraordinary, but I can't help but yearn for a pair of my own.
Since Atwood just isn't in the budget, I've hand picked some other great contenders that might be show stoppers too. I'll definitely be donning these with my skinny green cargoes and a feminine blouse or I know they'd be that unexpected compliment to a bright red dress! You can't go wrong and what an investment piece that will subtly elongate your gams...cha-ching! Enjoy!

The Looks:
Why this works:
It's professional without trying too hard. I love the idea of mixing a menswear inspired piece (the vest) with hot red pumps that are uber feminine. The grey suit is subtle but professional.
Why this works:
Again, we're a sucker for a vest! We also think the white blazer and khaki colored pants are a great way to feel dressed up but a bit more casual looking because it's not a full suit. We love the animal print pumps because they can be that piece that's memorable and might set you apart from the competition.
Why this works:
Jewel toned colors are sophisticated and gorgeous for any interview. We love this pin striped blazer and pairing it with soft shades is a supreme way to look put together but not overly stuffy.
Carolyn, thank so much for your awesome reader request. We're certain numerous other readers are in the same boat and wanting to spruce up their professional attire. HERE'S a great list of to-do's that you might want to take a peek at, pre-interview. We love their pointers on hair, makeup and not flaunting assets.
We know you're going to do great at your upcoming interviews and hopefully these great ideas help you feel more confident, put together and sophisticated during those upcoming interviews! Also, a great way to have the perfectly fitting and comfortable suit is to find a great tailor and have it altered to your exact measurements. And a great rule of thumb is you'd always rather dress a bit dressier than show up too casual. You're gonna rock 'em, girl!

How to/to Not Wear It: Bright Prints
Head to toe polka dots are never an option. If you're eyeing a boldly printed piece, make sure to keep the cut classic and keep your makeup and accessories to a minimum.
How to/to Not Wear It: Stand Out in a Crowd
One of the hottest new ways to stand out in a sea of black cocktail dresses in by donning a statement making animal print piece. Don't opt for a a piece that draws unwanted attention to your lady part(s) and wear your crowd pleaser with poise.
How to/to Not Wear It: Bright, Bold Colors
Bold colors look best when color-blocked or as one single piece. If you're opting for a bright blouse, don muted tunes with it. Pairing a yellow dress with bright red glasses might not be your best bet...please opt for the second, classic option which is a look that is timeless and chic!

The holiday season is right around the corner and that means you should be gearing up for all those stunning soirees too. Hey amazing readers! There comes a time in everyone's life where they have to put their work aside and concentrate on their personal life, to the fullest, at least for one week. We're taking an entire week off from blogging and this is H-U-G-E! Why? Well because we haven't taken a full week off from our blogging career for over three years. Yeppers, three whole years...non...stop...blogging!
RWD Hubby actually convinced me that this has been a long time coming and a much deserved sabbatical/hiatus is just what I'm truly in need of. Obviously, I'm eager to return with new-found energy, ideas, creativity and seriously refreshed. It's only one week so don't fret but please check back on Monday, October 18th as we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming then...haha!
So what can you do for us this week? Share all our sites with all your friends, via email and Facebook. We'd be forever grateful and appreciative!

We know you're already extremely well aware of our insane love of hip bags (aka: fanny packs or belt bags) HERE, HERE and HERE...so it should come as no surprise that we're finally sporting our own. After our recent features on Fashion DIY'ers (HERE and HERE) we decided it was high-time to put our own creativity to good use and start our own little DIY project.
You may/may not know that we're DIY JUNKIES around the house (HERE) but seldom cross over into fashion and beauty territory. Everyone once in a while we'll whip up some homemade bubble bath (HERE) or even make our own avocado and coconut oil face mask, but that's about it.
Today is a new day readers as we're turning over a new leaf! We'd like to welcome a new category to our repertoire. Fashion DIY will be 'our' new category, meaning ours and yours! Do you have a knack for Fashion Do-It-Yourself projects...please share with us via RunwayDaily@RunwayDaily.com.
Or maybe you'll be inspired to tackle some of our own featured DIY projects such as our new shoulder/hip bag today. Feel free to share your pics with us, anytime. Just an FYI, many leather hip bags retail well over $75 so we were happy to DIY our own version for $14.99. Read on, readers to see the rundown pictures re-cap and how we did it!
So here's the goodie we picked up at TJ Maxx a week ago in hopes of getting hubby's help to turn it into the chicest and most affordable hip bag, ever!
Yeah, check that price out! $14.99 because this girl is always a Maxxinista, ha!
The three items needed for this DIY: Hammer, marker (to mark your hammered holes) and a punch (had to ask hubby the name of that metal contraption, ha!)
So here I am sporting this tiny cross-body bag which is how the maker (Nine West) intended it to be worn. Once we're finished with it though, this cross-body bag will also be a hip bag from heaven for our upcoming cruise. Can't wait to tour and sight-see, hands free!
So we slung the bag around my waist and measured where we wanted some new holes to go...
And then hubby marked a permanent spot on the back of the strap with a silver sharpie.
Next, he checked out how far the space should be for our new extra holes (to convert it into a hip bag) and figured an inch between each new hole would do just fine!
Using his punch, hubby then hammered four extra holes, into the strap, an inch apart, where he marked it with the sharpie! Now I have four extra holes to put the bag around my waist!
I wrapped my new hip bag around my waist but used my new holes in the strap to secure it around my waist. But now I have all this leftover strap! Well, I didn't want to cut it off because I love the option of also wearing this bag cross-body too...
So I just looped it through the side ring...
And rolled up and then placed the extra length of the strap into the hip bag pouch!
And here the FINISHED PRODUCT!! My very own hip bag for $14.99!
Seriously, are you impressed? Hubby sure was! I think he looked at me like I was silly, at first and once I explained to him exactly what I was thinking...he surealy thought this inexpensive idea was genius. Or he's just tired of hearing me moan about the high prices of hip bags for the last few weeks! Either way, let us know if you try this same project...or any other DIY, as we'd love to see the pics via RunwayDaily@RunwayDaily.com! Cheers and Enjoy!

Glance above, see that piped blazer in navy and those great gold pants...yeah, that's Balenciaga's Fall 2007 collection and we adored it, HERE (screen image below.) Style.com just named this collection as one of their top collections of all time...one of ten supremo's, if you may! We were pumped when we saw it and just had to give ourselves a tiny lil' pat on the back for always keeping our readers up to date on emerging trends and where we think fashion is going.
We try extremely hard to be on the cusp of cutting edge fashion and be the first to tell you about upcoming trends. We hope this makes you smile and also makes those early supporters proud that they came on board over three years ago and are still reading daily! We love and adore you, and your amazing readership support!

They had me at...tag line: "Stop the trafficking. Start a new life." So simple yet so profound! A really great friend of mine recently gave me a StopStart bag for my 30th birthday (check out the pic of me by my awesome marquee HERE) and I was floored. I knew exactly what it was because I had literally commented on her bag the night before and she told me all about them. Little did I know she had ordered one for me and she was totally snickering under her breath, just knowing her hidden secret surprise for the next day!
Here's a brief snippet about the company:
"STOPStart Enterprises (formerly Hagar On-Time!) provides jobs for trafficked and abused women in Cambodia. Most of their employees have come to them from Hagar Cambodia's Shelter Program. STOPStart currently employs about 40 women, many of whom have been rescued out of sexual trafficking. Of the remainder, most have suffered extreme emotional or physical abuse."
I love my StopStart bag (below and purchase it HERE) and can't wait to carry it to every farmer's market trip or shopping adventure. It's the perfect size for Zola to hop into and I love the gorgeous color palette too. Not to mention, purchasing these great bags is doing so much good and giving to charity. Such a win-win. If you're stumped about what to get a friend for his/her upcoming birthday, check out THIS selection of StopStart bags (many under $10) and scoop one up, pronto!
I just have to give a huge shout out to my friend Kelly for such a wonderful gift...you're awesome, chick-a-dee! She filled the bag with all her favorite things, creating her very own 'Oprah' bag. There were so many sweet and thoughtful luxuries inside for my birthday gift that I honestly felt like a Princess. Loved this gift, adore this bag...cherish her friendship!
PS - Don't be judging the tiredness of ME, ok? It was a long, long day...thanks!

We just had to showcase this plethora of celebrities! As of late, they've recently donned some pretty daring, wild and eye catching ensembles. Half of me wants to say, 'Is Halloween coming early this year?' While the other half genuinely loves that these gorgeous gals are taking chance, a fashion risk, and stepping outside their ensemble sporting comfort zone.
From big bow belts (Gomez) to velvet shorts (Richie) to huge polka dots (Swift) to geometric capes (Hudson) to wild animal prints (Campbell, Bilson, Gomez and Pinkett Smith)...these ladies are all daredevils and do it with poise and passion. We've hand-picked some wild pieces below for you to hop on this delish wild-baring bandwagon. So my fashion loving friends, take note and be a fashion risktaker this coming weekend...enjoy!
